i'm in amsterdam and having a lot of fun, and have been doing a lot of really deep self-reflection. things are very very good! i have to get off this computer soon.. i will write a longer entry when i get home

  MMMM...deep reflection in the pot capital of the world...nice....wait what am i saying?! Vancouver is the pot capital of the world....homegrown is always better...

  Dude! Good to hear from you!! I'm glad you're likely Amsterdam! I had mixed feelings... I didn't find the liberalism I was looking for, just a bunch of people waiting to cater for my sins for the alimighty dollar. But, then again, I didn't get to meet many dutch... Well... I suppose there was that dutch girl I met at the soroity party while I was on a pub crawl, but our conversation was cut too short by a bunch of soriety sisters who dragged her back into the fold.
  
  And I will say this, pay toiletts at pubs suck!
  
  Highly recommended: "Boom Chicago" comedy club, Van Gogh museum, Anne Frank House, "Smart Shops," Red Light tours, biking tour of city. I never did get to see the heiniken factory... One day. One Day.
  
  Which hostle are you staying in?
  
  And are you going to be back for Shambhala, or do you think you might fall in love with Europe and want to stay longer?
